Cinder, Wishful Thinking

A narrative photographic series of a rewritten version of Cinderella in a modern reading, in which the fairy godmother does not exist and wrote in a more feministic point of view that comments on the structure of fairy tales.


This scene is the point in the story she is being emotionally abused by her family. I made this scene with distortion and manipulation with scale so that the viewers might look at this and feel somewhat disturbed. The silhouette was created with special lighting and cardboard cutouts I made.
